Downtown Westport Infrastructure Improvements Ongoing

Westport has ongoing infrastructure improvements in the downtown area funded by a state Main Street Investment Fund grant of $497,595. Projects include improvements to nearly 9,800 linear feet of new or existing sidewalks, with 1,800 linear feet on Main Street receiving new curbing, tree grates, and energy-efficient lights designed to complement the historic character. Additional work includes Main Street, Elm Street, Post Road, and Imperial Avenue improvements, with new tree plantings to enhance downtown aesthetics.
